Ghost Apocalyptic Comic Blog

Oh, dear, sweet Space Crusaders. My ever evolving attempt at an original story from jr. high through high school. I cut my teeth on (attempting) to create characters, story, continuity, and even tried some hand drawn animation. Also, based on imitation of style, the anime/manga invasion had begun at the time.  

More old art dump here. I was definitely getting more into music too. A friend got a tattoo I drew. That's pretty cool. I silk screened some t-shirts out of my garage at some point using the DJ picture to start up. Buddy got a 'famous'jungle DJ to wear it during a set, which was neat. 

Here’s a mix of older drawings from around high school. I grew up on Elfquest, X-Men and Dragonball comics, which are pretty much the styles I tried to emulate. It always felt insincere or thiefy, to me, to ape another style and since then I’ve struggled to make my own, to varying degrees of success…
